Finding a Cure, One Plant at a Time

Invincibelle® Spirit Hydrangea is the first-ever pink ‘Annabelle’ hydrangea. Their rich pink flowers make it really special for its mission to end breast cancer forever.

The unique pink Annabelle hydrangea will be the focal point of a special shrub bed planted at Proksa Park this spring, honoring everyone who has been touched or affected by cancer. The color and bed layout will call special attention to breast cancer, as well as honoring all those who have battled cancer in one form or another.

These beautiful hedge plants will be planted as part of your $50 donation to this project. A portion of your donation will go directly toward cancer research at the American Cancer Society as a donation from the Park District on your behalf. There will be a bench and dedication plaque for remembrance and enjoyment of this unique flowering shrub bed.
