The Berwyn Police Department and the City of Berwyn present:
Dear Neighbors and Parents,
We would like to invite you to a very important awareness and educational event being presented by Tina Meier. Tina is a nationally acclaimed cybersafety speaker whose daughter took her own life at age 13 due to the actions of cyberbullies who lived down the street.
It is very possible that your children do not want you to attend this presentation. Many children fear their parents gaining access to this level of information and shudder at the thought of their parents' increased supervision of their online activity. Many children hope that their parents remain "in the dark" about the current trends of the cyberworld.
We hear time and time again that one of your greatest fears as a parent is victimization or harm of your child through technology such as the Internet or mobile devices. Therefore, we continue to try and provide you with ways to proactively protect your children and prevent tragedy through education and information.
Time: 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
All Hallows Eve
