Boike Family Benefit
Fri, April 24 6-10 pm
"Coach Chris" Boike lost his short battle with cancer on Friday, January 23, leaving behind a
loving wife and three beautiful daughters. Everyone he encountered – including his church and
softball families – will hold his memory dear to their hearts. Chris leaves behind a legacy in
Berwyn through his dedication and love for the game of softball. He was a source of admiration
and inspiration – to players, parents and members of his coaching fraternity. He was a hero to
many of the young girls he coached, and was respected for the grace, humor, energy and
commitment he bestowed upon the softball community. He volunteered hours to the sport he
loved, but more importantly, to the girls to which he sparked that same love and dedication. His
legacy will live in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
