Concerts in the Park
Grab your family, friends and a blanket and join us for a delightful evening in the park filled with musical entertainment.

The Berwyn Development Corporation and the Berwyn Park District presents Concerts in the Park. The concerts will be held at Proksa Park each month.

The Sound Encounter Orchestra
With a great variety of music, from 40's to current, standards, motown, funk, rock, dance, swing and international music (including an extensive list of Italian music). This flexibility has them to become one of the busiest and top-rated bands in the midwest...so that you can expect a tight, well rehearsed performance.

Carnival of Fun
Step right up, take a chance, and try your luck, at this year’s Carnival of Fun! Included in this years’ carnival are many surprises and exciting activities for children and families to enjoy. Proksa Park will be filled with carnival games, a trackless train, and much more. This event is joined by the West Suburban Special Recreation Association’s annual Wacky Quacky Duck Splash. Tickets for games and special attractions will be available for purchase the day of the event.

National Night Out
Join in and help give crime a going away party! There will be events for the whole family to participate in! Law Enforcement and Fire agencies from local, county and state will provide demonstrations. There will also be food, music, entertainment, games and much more!

Berwyn Battle of the Bands
Here is your chance to be a star! The Berwyn Park District is looking for all teen basement bands, buddies, and groupies in the area to represent their community in Berwyn’s Battle of the Bands competition. Bands will be provided with a stage, electricity, microphones, speakers, judges and an audience. All types of music and abilities are welcome to participate. Bands need to bring all equipment, including instruments and sound equipment. Winners will play at local venues and receive cash prizes! Applications and rules can be found on our website or at Freedom or Proksa Park

Earth Day
Thank you Emerson and Pershing Schools and other volunteers that celebrated Earth Day with us by planting trees and beautifying our parks. A special thanks to Brando’s Beef for donating lunch!
