Proksa Park This is the Park District’s largest park, featuring the Proksa Activity Center (available for rentals), offices, a preschool classroom, three lighted tennis courts, two lighted baseball diamonds, a children’s garden, the Baldwin Playground Area, two picnic groves, two ponds, and a creek.
The Proksa Park Activity Center’s Multi-Purpose Room is available for rental to public and private groups and businesses. This room is available on a first come, first serve basis. Room rentals are coordinated through the Proksa Park Activity Center and are subject to availability. A $100 refundable security deposit is required upon application and the balance is due at least 5 working days before the rental date. A room cannot be held unless a deposit has been paid. 2011 prices are now in effect. Please contact the Park District in advance for all Room Rentals. A security deposit is required for any room rental and will be refunded approximately twenty-one days after the rental. All special additions to your rental such as a DJ must be submitted to the executive director in writing to be approved prior to your rental date.
