The Berwyn Park District's Art Park at 34th and Oak Park Ave is a dynamic hub where nature blends with captivating murals from local artists. In collaboration with the Berwyn Public Arts Initiative, this park provides an open-air gallery of vibrant, expressive murals that narrate the diverse stories of our community. The Art Park is a unique space where art and nature converge.

Freedom Park is a dynamic community hub, housing the Park District's administrative office and a preschool classroom. This multifaceted park features a modern, lighted, synthetic field turf soccer field, an inviting picnic area, and a well-equipped playground for children. It is a functional space for active living and community engagement within the neighborhood.

Hessler Park offers an array of amenities for diverse interests. It features a vibrant playground area for children, a peaceful chess or checkers table for strategic games, and abundant green space for various outdoor activities. This passive park fosters community connections and provides a tranquil escape within the neighborhood.

Karasek Park, nestled in the Depot District, serves as a serene oasis for both residents and commuters. This park offers a peaceful escape from the rigors of daily life, providing a tranquil space for relaxation, play, and connecting with nature. Its strategic location and amenities make it a cherished asset, fostering a sense of community and well-being within the heart of the urban environment.

Karban Dog Park, established in response to community requests, offers a secure off-leash area for dogs within the Berwyn Park District. It allows for unstructured play, training, and socialization, enhancing the well-being of dogs and their owners. Yearly permits for entry can be obtained at the Freedom Park Administrative Building, ensuring responsible use and maintenance of this valuable community asset.

Mraz Park, located at the heart of our town, is a peaceful passive park with a central veteran's flagpole. It also offers an interactive story walk, encouraging reading in a natural setting, and provides serene spots for relaxation and socialization. It's a quintessential community space, where history and nature blend harmoniously to offer a place for quiet reflection, shared moments, and a deep sense of local pride.

Proksa Park, the largest in the Park District, is a beloved community hub, offering a wide array of amenities and features. It caters to a variety of interests with its versatile Proksa Activity Center, offices, preschool classroom, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, children's garden, Baldwin Playground Area, picnic groves, and serene ponds and creek. It's a cherished destination for residents and visitors alike.

Serenity Park invites you to immerse yourself in a tranquil green space nestled within the heart of our bustling community. This serene patch of nature offers a refuge from the urban rush, inviting visitors to unwind and reconnect with the natural world.

At the heart of Serenity Park lies a volunteer-led community garden, a thriving hub of shared passion and cultivation. Here, a diverse garden program flourishes under the care of dedicated volunteers, each contributing their time and expertise to nurture this space.

Smirz Park, a beloved community destination, offers an array of recreational opportunities and family-friendly attractions. Notable features include a large skate park, a remarkable "KaBOOM!" playground constructed by volunteers and staff in a single day, and a spacious green area for children to play. This park stands as a symbol of community unity and provides diverse experiences for residents and visitors, from skateboarding and family picnics to fostering cherished memories and celebrating individual and collective passions.

Sunshine Park, a cherished neighborhood destination, offers an array of recreational attractions for all ages. From sand volleyball and a dedicated toddler playground to bocci ball courts and a picturesque gazebo, it caters to a variety of interests. The park's play structure and availability for picnic rentals make it a prime spot for gatherings and events. In addition, it's home to the district's maintenance department, ensuring a well-kept and safe environment. Sunshine Park is a community hub where residents come together to enjoy outdoor activities, forge connections, and celebrate the spirit of togetherness.
